Ebay venting

I love checking ebay first thing in the morning, only to find 3 negative feedbacks left by a deadbeat buyer. He won 3 1960 topps psa cards from me. My auction rules state that payment is due within 10 days, more than a fair amount of time, and by no means am I a stickler regarding this. I always attempt several communications, all courteous, before taking any action. I sent this clown at least 5 or 6 emails asking if there was a problem, and if so to please let me know......and of course, got ZERO response from them. Meanwhile I checked his feedback and noticed that he bought and paid for at least 50 cards AFTER my auctiond ended. So I wait almost 3 1/2 weeks and file a NPB with ebay to recoup my fees, and relist the items. Well, as per the usual idiot you find on ebay, he decides to send me a check AFTER all the contacts ( which he still never replied to) and after cards were already relisted and sold. I get his check almost 5 weeks after he was supposed to send, and well after the cards have been relisted, sold to and paid for by new buyer, and shipped. In turn, i waste a stamp & envelope on this guy to mail him back his check explaining that payment was too late, items were relisted. So of course he decides that instead of looking in the mirror and saying to himself, yeah, maybe I could have responded to this guys 6 emails asking me about payment instead of just sending it whenever I damn well please, he decides his best course of action is to leave me 3 nasty negatives.
Just a question on the side.......Doesnt ebay remove anyone who receives 3 unpaid strikes against them ? This guy had 2 before me, and the 3 from my auctions, in less than 3 months of being a member, and he is still on & able to bid how he pleases, and leave unwarranted negatives for honest people.

You may be able to get the Negs removed - just ask Ebay and give them the details. They can remove the neg, but the comments that goes with it will stay. At least that helps some, and after a while those comments will drift off to the 2nd, 3rd page and be forgotten. If you respond to the negs, make sure you are professional and just state the facts - that will impress buyers. It's best to wait a couple days to cool down before you respond.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe the rule for getting naru'd in this situation is getting 3 non-paying bidder filings from 3 different sellers.

<< <i>Thanks for the correct link.....despite my aggrevation I think my replies were relatively professional. >>
But your original negatives weren't. Namecalling is never going to help you.
Why were you leaving negatives only 14 days after the end of the auctions?
HUH?
Bri has yet to leave the guy a neg, he has only replied to the negs he got. And the replies were factual.
What i do not understand is why ebay allows a guy to leave feedback if he has been given a non paying strike? of course that allows that person to retaliate.
In any event bri leave the negs and be professional about it.
