Nice to see the un-appreciated get top billing once in a while!
So...there is a 1946-P Doubled Die Matte Proof that exists along with 11 or so other Sinnock Matte Proof beauties. The 46-P is in some private collection in Philadelphia. I wonder as to who this could be.
Also shows a picture of Roosevelt himself sitting at a table with a bag of dimes! Bet those would be worth something today.

that there are no stoppers in the series. All of the silvers exist in hordes but almost none of the
clads do so the phraseolgy is funny. The clad series also contains most of the 20th century stoppers.
Everything is perspective. If no one collects the clads then there are ample numbers of them and
there won't be any stoppers in the whole series.
Edited to add that the article is otherwise extremely well written and I considered starting a thread
on the coin forum about it.
