A good autograph opportunity, but is telling you about it spam?

Hi everyone,

I'm a newbie and a little paranoid.

I just heard about a Larry Walker and Orlando Hudson autograph signing set to take place, but is telling people about it on here considered spam?

If someone can let me know before I embarass myself, that would be great.

    I don't think so unless it is at your store or you will profit from it. I think people are only upset by SPAM on here if it is for self promotion and evem worse, self promotion off topic.

    I think many would enjoy a chance to get autographs especially if they are free. image

    Mine was when I accidentally picked Steve (winpitcher)'s Avatar.....

    OK, here it goes. I'm sure I'll find plenty of ways to embarass myself on here. Anyway, the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame (which is located about 30 minutes from me) in St. Marys, Ontario is having a fundraising meet and greet with Larry Walker and Orlando Hudson on January 15. For $25 (Cdn.) + postage, you can get an item autographed by each of them. If anyone is interested, I can post the Hall's contact information on here. It seems like a pretty good deal to me, considering today's autograph prices. Walker's a borderline HOFer and Hudson won a Gold Glove last year.
