wow-rube forster was a big dude lol-i never looked at my set yet i emailed the curator at the house of david museum museum and hes going to get me autographs of the 2 guys that are still alive, one is 94 one 96- you might want ed to do the same barry,he never told me who the two left are, i guess ill find out-dont know if any of em in this set are one of them or not, one of those auoted would be very cool- out of 1200 guys on their 5 diff teams or so over the years,2 is all thats left, iwas hoping for more, that pretty well stinks, there was several when the guy 1st started on the museum, they must live pretty close to benton harbor where they were!ill find out, might hear some thing this week or next
i am very curious as to who the final two are, i sent him 20$,told him like to get them on a pic or something from the museum,im prety psyched,i figured they were all dead too,7 were alive when the website was 1st made if you read all of it-two is better than none
cool,ya got it cheaper thani did, they are nice too,no chipping on the 2007 set, they are sweet,i was gonna take pics today but it was cloudy,me needs scanner but i have no room out here, there is war stuff truck parts and cards everywhere
I received my 10 packs from Kurt today as well. Beautiful cards but the packs sucked for me. I got 7 Dennis Biddles, 6 Elmer Ficks, and 4 of some boxer. But that is okay. I'm just going to have to buy the set. At least I got my pack fix.

Anybody have any of the Helmar Crowns ? These things look awesome. Here is a write up about them from Helmars site and some pics.................
"Helmar Crowns Series One
This is the first installment of Helmar's ongoing series of athletes on metal crowns, released in January 2004. The crowns are only distributed with Helmar's Big League brew, and are not available directly from the brewery. There are twenty-four different crowns available, and they are available in roughly equal numbers. The original paintings were accomplished by Helmar's own art department."
For anyone that was wanting a Rube Foster there is one ending on E-bay in about 2hrs, Or you can buy it now for $1.99. Doesnt seem like a bad deal considering it is a fairly tough pull.
