Thanks Claude! I'll keep an eye out for that card (i.e. Baylor)!
OT: Don Baylor! Does anyone know how Don Baylor is doing today? He had bone marrow cancer (in 2003), he was treated successfully and returned to the Mets as a coach in 2004.
Anyone hear more info about him?
edit: Don had a decent career as player (and MLB management also!)

I hardly call his managerial career decent, please remember I am a Cubs fan. I hope though that Don is doing well. He seemed a helluva a guy when he managed in Chicago and was a pretty good ball player. He played the game hard and always took one on the elbow for the team. I respect him for that.
Nice pickup btw rbd. You sure do like the OPC's. Are you Canadian(and no, I am not being a smartass.)?

thanx! no zep, I'm not "one of our neighbor's to the North", I just like em (i.e., OPC's that is!) as "salt away" material!
Off topic but to the above about Baylor, I would agree he was much more than decent. His years with the Angels, before everybody (including Brady Anderson) could hit 50 Don was a solid 25 hrs/90rbi guy. He ended with over 2,000 hits, 325+ hrs, 1,200+rbis, etc.... He was the leader of some very good Angel's teams in the '70's as well! Plus solid post season numbers. Just my 2cents.
