Here are a couple of other things I have found recently. I'm not sure as to what they are, but hopefully someone here can help me out with that.

A ... seashell.

That bottom thingie that looks like a martial arts throwing star weapon is a box plate or badge of some sort- you can tell it was once fastened onto something (likely a leather belt or a cartridge box or whatever), by the prongs on it...

Were I to make some wild, uneducated guesses, your seashell is probably a Victorian-era ornament. The plate or badge thingie is probably 18th or 19th century but I dunno.
