Some of my recent finds.....

I haven't been able to post much lately. I've been remodeling and getting ready for a baby. I hope to post more, but this 50k thing is killing me.

Here is some stuff I found during my only hunt in December. One of my better hunts in a while.

Long time no see, IHM. Nice work- I'm envious of you diggin' that CC dime. I'd love to find a Carson City coin.

(Of course, a Charlotte or Dahlonega coin would be fun, too...) image

I like to see those green pennies, too- very seldom will a Wheatie, even an early Wheatie, look like that when I dig it. When I see that color green, I know I have myself an Indian cent. image

  • Nice finds IHM,
Without divulging the location, what type of site did these come from?

  • Oh, and congrats on the little one... even less detecting time in the short-run. image
  • These came from and old camp ground/fair ground/watering hole - That was mainly used from 1850 - 1900. Not many people know about it, but sadly I was not the first to hunt it. I wish I knew who and what they pulled out.

Lord I think I now have a mint set of seated dimes. Not bad for digging in Kansas.
  • Very nice finds you have there IHM. Keep posting when you can and enjoy your soon-to-be new addition.

Not bad at all. I am still astonished by the amount of Seated stuff you get. I'm lucky if I find ONE every three or four years.
