Is the defense even on the field? Runs of 95 yards by Tiki and reception for 78 yards?

I guess the raiders want this one over early.

    Norv Turner needs to be put out of his misery. Also, Al Davis may not be fit to run that once proud team anymore -- he lost the only recent good coach he had (Gruden) and the others have been disasters. I see a Mike Tice hiring within the next month! image

    It really looked like Collins scored on that 4th and goal at the end of the game - even the announcers seemed to agree.

    Still, Eli got to watch another opposing QB put up better numbers than him, again.

    I just don't understand how the raiders suck so bad. I guess their defense just blows.

    They have 3 Probowl type Recievers.

    Porter/Moss/Gabriel

    Plus lamont Jordan is no bum. kerry collins does blow but he can still put #'s up. I think they are 1-2 defensive players away.

    Absolutely he scored...but then, we can't have the Giants backing into the playoffs can we?

    Eli is really showing he's a mediocre QB over and over. I watched Eli miss a WIDE OPEN Burress that would have been a TD. This kid stinks.

    The Giants go 11-5 and win the NFC East and here you have Axtell and ctsox moaning about close call that almost every football game ends up having at some point. Oh well, keep on being miserable the two of ya!

    Sure as hell wasn't Eli's doing. Tiki carried that team with his running, and 2nd all time yards from scrimmage. Of course, he's the brother of a Buccaneer, so he can't be all bad.

    Axtell, did you see Eli play last year? I can objectively say that he was awful. He has improved a lot since then, and I expect he will improve again next year.

    Last year he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn and had no juice on his throws.

    6 TDs last year in 9 games. This year 24 TDs in 16 games.

    forget it, AX will just post the ugly numbers. Cause it suits his agenda. You won't hear that there are only 3 QB's in the entire league that have more touchdown passes than Eli Manning. Because that would be a positive stat, can't have that.

    His completion percentage didn't increase much (48% to 52%), and his yards per attempt didn't rise much, and he throws way too many ints (afraid of taking a sack? Probably).

    Who cares about TD passes if he's going to turn the ball over more than once a game?

    10 players in the NFC alone had a better passer rating than Eli (yes, including Simms).

    If you want to look at strictly TD passes, and say that's what makes a great season, then go ahead and drink the Eli kool aid.

    Eli is a second year quaterback. He has room for ALOT of improvement. But does he STINK? You would think so by drinking the anti NY kool aid.
