For those who like searching Krause Part II

I looked at the new 2006 1900- to present Krause... I was in the German States section under Bremen and a funny thing happened... There was a picture of a late Krone from Norway in the place of the Bremen 2 Mark coin... My edition has a MISTAKE!! image

Should we be real numismatists and seek out more in hopes of being hired as proof readers for the next edition? image

Have ACG encapsulate the catalog as an error!

Great Britain is the header on the page but should be Greece.

Try the country name header on pages 2034-2046.

Also Switzlerland cocoa doesn't taste as good as Switzerland cocoa.

    What a shame.

There is another wrong coin image I saw several months ago but I forgot which one.

I've noticed quite a few errors like this going through my new Krause catalogues (I've recently bought all four - there goes my coin budget for this year! image). One error I've noticed quite a lot is pictures being noticeably smaller (or sometimes larger) than the real coin. This is presumably an artefact of their transition to digital, and can be a real pain if you're trying to identify something by picture-matching.

I have heard that some publishers deliberately introduce errors to catch people copying their work.

An old story is that the American Automobile Association (AAA) puts fake streets on it's maps to catch people copying their maps.
