My father speaks of Mills he used in Oklahoma as a kid in the late 30s and early 40s. The were 1/10th of a cent.
Are there any on-line references to these and the different issues? Are they collected? What were they made of?

Here is one site with a couple book references.
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
I may be able to help answer your question, but I will be the very first to admit that I know very little about tax tokens.
The state issues are plentiful and generally don't sell for more than a dollar each in any condition. There are exceptions, of course. Oklahoma, to my knowledge, isn't an exception. It's the local and provincial issues, usually counties, that are scarce to rare, some of which have fewer than a dozen specimens known. Those can generate up to $50 or $75 each, but that's about the highest I have ever heard of a tax token selling for.

So it looks like there are 19 cataloged tokens from Oklahoma. I saw one on e-bay.
Have a Great Day!
