I think I have been lucky the past couple of days. I went to another of my local Coin shop to wish the ower a Happy New Year. I hadn't bought from him in a while so I asked if he had any 1921 Morgans. He gave me a stack of them to look through. While talking about his upcoming trip to the FUN show I stumbled upon this beauty. This coin carries both high interest and rarity. No real question about the designation but the price was more than right, $12. This is easily a MS63 in my mind. Yes there is a hit on the chin but it is the only hit on the obverse. WHat do you think?
VAM 1H IV 1 • D1a (5 Die Gouges on Reverse–D, L, A, t) (189) I-4 R-6
