A tale about my Peace Dollar (pictures included)

So I buy this Peace Dollar about a year ago because it had some really weird/different die polish on the obverse. I was meaning to take pictures of it and post it here to see if anyone has seen this type of obverse die polish on a Peace Dollar. Then I lost the darn thing somewhere in my house.

Today while I was cleaning around my computer (behind the PC where the fan is), I had felt something that felt like a 2x2 with my hand. Low and behold it is my Peace Dollar. It must have fallen behind my PC where it lay for about a year. It used to be fairly light, with no real toning to mention. Look at it now -- an interesting form of AT, or is it? Does lying behind a PC's fan for a year constitute AT?

In any event, thought I'd post pictures of it to show what it looks like now. The only thing that really stinks is now the toning covers up most of the die polish and a photo doesn't pick it all up that well...so I can't ask my original question

I happen to like the toning, especially on the lower-left reverse. Nice coin and cool story.

Nice toning; now everyone is going to start storing thier coins behind thier CPU fan.

You did not add any chemicals so it should be natural. See if it gets slabbed? Worst case is body bag. Best case is a slabbed coin with a story to put in the registry.

By the way, that picture is raw -- e.g. no adjustments whatsoever other than resizing it to an acceptable resolution/file size. Did it come out OK?
