The 10 ruble coins are very nice. I got some of them in circulation while I was in Russia. Even those coins are minted in millions, they get hoarded up by everyone for some bizarre reasons. I guess everyone is trying to get a coin each or they get exported overseas too fast.

Perhaps, the Central Bank of Russia should just remove the existance of 10 rubles note to get those circulated. I mean, come on, 10 rubles is just 30 cents or something. I wouldn't like those toilet paper notes to continue circulating.

I need to keep up with the 10 rubles collection - there are just too much right now and actually ruined how I wanted to collect a full set, darn Russians dared to issue these four coins:

This (obviously) is a 1979 Belize gold $100 coin. Currently the only gold in my birth year collection.



This is my new 1979 Solomon Islands $10 for the silver set. I had to buy the whole proof set to get a reasonable price. Think this might make DCAM?



The first time I saw MadMarty's weenie coin I knew I had to have one. Again, 1979.

Just picked this up...I always wanted these two probas and the packaging was something I hadn't seen before. Two are probas and one is regular issue.
