Best Sports-Related Commercial of 2005?

I always thought that if I couldn't be a professional athlete, being a writer for ESPN commercials would be the next best job in the world. That being said, any thoughts on the best commercial of 2005?

I love the D. Patrick parking spot commercial, but right now my favorite is the LeBron James "office chair" commercial.

Anyone else have any?

    I love the Gatorade one where they say:

    My problem with those lebron commercials is they straight up stole that idea from outkast...not much originality there.

    My all time favorite sports commercial is 'terrible' terry tate - office linebacker for Reebok.

    In my book, the winner has to be Peyton Manning's MasterCard commercials. They have me laughing my butt of the couch.

    I can't remember what product it is for (like many commercials), it might be for an insurance company. It's a softball game and the guy is coming up to bat. The voice/sound over is the play by play from Gibson's homerun in the W.S.

    I'll go with this one. I think the funniest part is that the guy with one of the biggest heads (not ego but actual physical head dimensions) asks the stock boy to sign his melon. Classic image

    I agree with megatron & kcballboy,

    The Manning commercial is hysterical. Especially the last scene when he's waiting outside as the employees leave and he gets the guys apron.

    Absolutely hillarious!

    there is a new one on this series, where they are playing flag football but the audio from Doug Flutie's hail mary pass with boston college! it is funny!

    I think they are actually Wheaties commercials btw. kirk gibson spot

    My vote for the WORST sports commericial is the terrible spot with Tom Brady and his "5 layers of visa protection" following him around, which are actually just 5 Patriot players in uniform.

    Not funny. Not intresting. Not good.

    Had to add that the Manning commercials are also my favorites......Not only does he ask to have the melon signed for his little brother but when the super market guy throws him his apron, it's classic, especially since my brother works at a grocery store and I could picture him throwing the apron.........reminds me of the classic commercial with Mean Joe handing his work outfit, i.e. his jersey to the young kid except with a comic twist....

    This one was probably only in New England, but it was hilarious -- a Dunkin' Donuts commercial with Theo Epstien and Johnny Damon -- Theo catches Damon in the locker room taking off his "hairpiece" revealing a bald head surrounded by long hair on the botton. Theo starts snickering, then Damon says "your not going to tell anyone about this, are you?" and Theo says "OK, if you give me that Iced Latte". So Damon gives him the Latte. At the end of the commercial Theo later passes Damon in the Fenway stands. Damon happens to have another Iced Latte which Theo blackmails him out of.

    Ironically, both Theo and Damon are gone now!!
