How about Culpec....er Culpepper as one of the overrated!?

image

I must admit that even though I live in Minnesota,
I root every week for the VI-QUEENS....to LOSE!

So anyway, what do you all think about
the Big Guy?

Whilst you are at it.....is Mike Tice finally done after
this week?

....HEY! also, who will replace him?

Goodnight all!

I live in Minnesota too, and despite all the disappointing late season losses, I am a ViKING fan.

Culpepper is a superb athlete, however he has not often been a deciding force in very many games.

Last year he had some great statistics but the Vikes could only finish with a .500 record. People will undoubtedly blame the defense, but if you look at last year and the year before, many of the losses (I would say most) were because the offense was ineffective.

I watch every game and would say that Culpepper is overrated, but still a very good, not great QB.

I put Tice in the same boat (pun intended) good coach, not a great leader. Not too many great coaches or great quarterbacks out there.

First off I think Tice is a very bad coach/decision maker and Im suprised he hasn't been run out of town on a rail, as far as Culpepper is concerned other than his small hands he is a gifted athlete...260 llb's and can run? If he got a better coach and some solid wr's who were consistent I would say he is a great QB, he just needs to cut back on the turnovers a bit. He has posted some solid #'s and this year was just bad from the start.
  • Crawl back in your hole, DC will be back. Where were you last year when he had 40 tds ?

Where were they? They were in the same place as those people who are complaing about Shottenheimer not taking his team to the playoffs.

People like to complain when the chips are down, but seldom you hear how well someone is doing. I guess that people forgot that if Manning hadn't had the year he did, Culpepper would have won the MVP. Just like people whining about Marty not taking the chargers to the playoffs this year, even though he took then 12 wins last year (when they were supposed to outright stink).
