Hey Cornholio

Gimme a prediction on you Ga Tech team today.

I'm thinking they dominate the Utes.

Tech 31
Utah 17

  • The past two regular seasons ended in mediocrity, and coaching was in question; hence GT blowouts in bowl games since coaches’ jobs may have been at stake. This year, the coaches are more secure from big wins over Auburn and Miami, even though our offense, despite having the BEST WR in the country, is still anemic. However our offense should be good for 27 since Utah’s defense is bad, and that’s factoring in about 2 Travis Bell missed field goals… Of GT's 4 losses, 1 was due to a fluke play against NCST, and the other three were VT, UVA and UGA. All three of those teams have mobile QB's - as does Utah. But with this much time, I think Tenuta will cook something up to stop their offense. If I had to pick, I'd say something like GT 27 Utah 17.

FWIW, GT got royally screwed again by the ACC. 4 of the past 5 years, GT had to play a left coast bowl game (and it would be 5/5 had Virginia not backed out of the Champ Sports Bowl game last year). We have a better record than Clemson, UVA, and NCST, but all these teams got to stay east.

    Interesting game.
I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.
  • All I can say is wow. Kudos to Utah for coming out and wanting to win this game. This however was not the GT I have been watching all season. Absolutely zero adjustments were made in the second half - how the hell you let the same Utah dude get open play after play baffles me, and once again GT's offense couldn't score in a whorehouse with a suitcase full of money - we really need an offensive coordinator.
  • shocking how that game went!

    Utah certainly came to play.
