Is that how this works if you send in a card and request "no qualifier"???? It's knocked down two grades??
If that's the case, I don't care for that at all. The card pictured is not very appealing to the eye if you're concerned about centering. I don't need a pixel counter to tell me if it's within the limits or not. Buy the card, not the holder I guess.

Good point, I was wondering too, if it has perfect corners, and just the centering is off, it becomes an 8. If everything is perfect on a card, except centering, and you did not ask to have no qualifiers listed, would it automatically be a PSA 9OC?? Never have seen a PSA 10OC??
Looks about 75/25 to me. Which is actually in line with NM 7 centering standards. So my guess is this was requested NQ and probably is in line with a PSA 10 otherwise. If it were a 9 otherwise I would have expected a 7 overall grade NQ.
For my money, there are plenty of high grade examples of 69 Topps baseball so I'd pass on it, but a great looking card other than that centering.
The holder has been compromised or the label has been swaped or the card has been swapped or the centering does in fact fall in line with PSA 8 standards. In any case, PSA did not make an error. Lets make that clear.

As has been said before the knockdown of two grades for a qualifier is not automatic.
With all that said, I would not buy it.
Never know!!!
This mag was 4 years old in PSA defense.
