    Sorry to say that that is a modern fake/fantasy/reproduction. Good general rule of thumb is that if it doesn't have a denomination on it such as cents, dollar, Dol or D, or if it has a bear on it, it is a fake.

    Mike Locke has a very nice website that identifies at least a two or three hundrd different varieties of the fake California Fractionals that have the bear on the reverse.
