    Me personally,
    I'd bring him back, but keep him on a short leash. Another start like this season and out the door he goes.

    Not a Vikings fan, but Tice did show some coaching in recent weeks, as well as diffusing a barrage of bombs early in the season.

    I like him as a person, but he is too caught up in statistics, trends etc. I don't think the players respect him. I would like to see the Vikes get a first class coach, but who is out there? The biggest mistake was to hire Denny when we could have promoted Dungy. I say keep Tice, barely, but if you can come up with someone with a good track record, Mike will have to go.

    They both arrived in 1992. I'm guessing Green hired Dungy. Jerry Burns had already announced his retirement before the end of the 1991 season. Dungy was the defensive backs coach in Kansas City from 1989-1991.

    Yes, bring him back. I think he will be a better coach next year, and has learned, just as players need ot learn.
