Can anyone identify country of origin?

I'm normally a US coin collector but over the years every time I tell anyone I collect coins they give me some from some country. Recently a freind gave me a pile of foreign coins and currency. They were almost all in envelopes with the name of the country of origin printed on the envelope. However, there were some he could not identify. Therefore, can anyone identify these for me. Obverse and reverse are 1&2, 3&4, 5&6, 7&8

Belgium, China (Taiwan), Belgium, Great Britain.

You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins.
