Is anyone familiar with HP cameras??

I just bought myself this HP photosmart M415 digital camera today. I have very little experience with dig cams ummm about 4 hrs to be exact LOL. Well I have snapped a decent pic of my 1908 MS-64 RD indian penny. I have downloaded the cd that came with the cam. It uses HP Image zone. I have located the area to resize the photo. I have tried alot of downsizing but everytime I go to upload the image it the site says it is to large. I cant seem to get the science down on how to resize the photo to 50KB. I have my PM on in case someone is able to help me otherwise I will check here again in a few mins. Thanks.

    Us Microsoft Paint (it is included in windows). Once you've loaded the picture, simply hit CTRL-W and reduce the size. Save the file and check the size. Repeat as necessary...Mike
