BASKETBALL HALL OF FAME Set vs. HALL OF FAME ROOKIES Set

In looking at these two registry sets it seems that simple logic would require that the two sets have the same list of HOF players.

However, there is a major difference between the two sets. The HOF Players Rookies set is different from the basic HOF Players set. The Rookie set does NOT contain the names of all of the players found in the basic HOF Players set.

Does anyone know why?

I believe it is because the HOF rookie set contains players who have rookie cards in mainstream sets. The HOF player set is for players who have cards in any set.

BTW - Check your PM's about some Panini's.
