Biggest ABC MNF Choke?

I wasn't alive to see the old games, but I'd vote for the 10/06/2003 game of TB vs. Indy. TB led 35-14 late in the 4th quarter, but gave up 21 unanswered points in a little over 3 minutes, and then lost in OT. Has there ever been a bigger MNF choke?

That wasn't a comeback...and I hate to sound like Joey, but that onside kick wasn't legit (as later ruled by the league office).

Needless to say, the tampa d let the team down, but some very auspicious judging by the officials let the Colts back in.

Biggest choke? Didn't the Jets come back from way deeper to beat Miami a few years back?

Yeah, they kept talking about that game tonight as the biggest MNF comeback. The Jets were down 30-7 with seconds left in the third quarter. I would think down 23 at home with a whole quarter left would be a lot easier to come back from than down 21 on the road with only 4+ minutes left. But perhaps they don't talk about that game much because of the bad calling concerning the on-side kick.
  • Biggest MNF choke was Fred "The Hammer" Williamson trying to be a sportscaster.

Don't forget the "leaping" penalty on Brooks, giving Indy a second chance on that field goal, after Vanderchoke hooked it. Comebacks
like that are only possible when the refs are blind as they were that day.
