Yeah, maybe I should have just left them in my test post on the testing forum. I'm feeling a bit sheepish now. But I was terribly excited that I was able to take the pictures, put them on photobucket, and link them correctly on my first try. I'm going to try to get myself set up correctly tomorrow, and I promise no more pics until I get everything figured out.
I remember my first impression this board was of the photography skill of the members. I'm hoping just taking pics of my coins will occupy me for the rest of the winter, and distract me from buying MORE.
Hi Scott, I was wondering if you'd notice my feeble attempts
I just can't get over the coin. I still look at it every day.
Now go find me one with identical *obverse* toning! I really wanted that NGC64* Binion that was on Teletrade tonight, but I stopped watching at 600 bucks.
Sweet coin! Great luster and color on that baby! As to the pictures, not bad for a beginning. I'm sure you'll be putting out some great shots before long.
Focus, focus, focus. As a general rule with digital photography (perhaps all photography) ........ throw away all photos that are out of focus. If not, they'll aggravate you everytime you look at them.

Not bad at ALL for a first attempt (or for a final attempt for that matter)
Nice coin

<< <i>Crappy picture. I can't do any better, though. In fact, I'm at about that level. The first step is admitting there is a problem

Maybe I should post the first 25 reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaalllllly POS pictures, just to put a fresh perspective on my two crappy ones.
I figured at least with a toned coin I could get partial credit for the attempt.
I'm sure you'll be putting out some great shots before long.
