WOW--What a Christmas Present--Thank You Frank Evanov

I opened the mail that came in Friday and one of the cards was a 1957 Topps PSA 8 Bill Wight--card #340--pop 28 in PSA 8(low) and one of 5 cards I needed to complete the set in PSA 8 or better. I hadn't remembered winning it but with Brian Dwyer bidding on so much for me and so many sets going on I figured I just forgot I just missed it. I looked at who sent it to me and it was Frank Evanov(Mantlefan) who is the King of the 57s. I correspond with Frank often but I have never met him. Now figuring for sure Brian bought it for me and I did not remember him telling me, I e-mailed Frank to ask him how much I owed him.

Frank replied Merry Christmas--its a gift--I was blown away. Here is a card that would at a minimum go for $300-$400 and he was giving it to me!!!!

Frank --this is something I will never forget--your generosity is amazing.

What a fantastic gift! Frank is a class act!

The '57 is so beautiful to me that I had to jump into the fold. I'm glad that I did because even in PSA 6 condition, these cards are great! If anyone has any 6s or affordable 7s, drop me a PM.
