Westward Journey Nickels- Can they be sold in 2006 by US Mint?

I believe there was a bill in the house of representatives to extend sales of the nickels in some of the sets. Did this ever become law as all westward journey nickels cannot be sold by the US Mint after Dec 31, 2005?

When the Mint cut off sales of the satin mint sets, there was a post on this board that mentioned that if you went to the Annual Sales section, they had not yet shut off that link, and it appeared that you could still order from there. Anyways, I went that route and tried to order 10 more sets.... and, I just received them at the PO today!! So thanks to whoever first posted that info!!
As another aside... looking at a couple of the sets.... quality has suffered greatly. Either I received recycled sets or the Mint gave up on quality control near the end of the run and just filled orders....
The site also has:
Westward Journey Nickel Series™
The United States Mint will discontinue sales of products containing 2004 and 2005 nickels on December 25, 2005. The law that authorized changes in the nickel's design during 2004 and 2005 specifies that the reverse of any nickel issued after December 31, 2005, shall bear an image of Monticello. Legislation is currently pending in Congress that, if enacted, would allow the United States Mint to resume selling any remaining inventory of 2004 and 2005 nickels as part of numismatic sets. If any of these bills become law, the United States Mint may sell remaining stock again in the future."
If the law don't pass the mint will be stuck with quite a lot of product. Maybe they'll throw the stuff in the back of a vault and release it someday like the old CC Dollars.
