It was a good run...

but it's looking like I got ripped for the first time in my nine years of eBay. image I bought six coins from hesse-cassel a little over a month ago. At that time he had 100% feedback, but since then the negs have been rolling in and he went private. Won't return any emails either.
So, will PayPal even consider a dispute if I paid with a transfer from my checking account? Does the same burden of proof of shipment apply to overseas sellers?

Paypal will find in your favor but they may not be able to recover the funds from a bank transfer. File your dispute today.
  • Thanks Jammin. I'll see what they have to say.

I bought a couple of lower-value coins from that seller -- both were heavily polished. Now I can see that's not the only reason he's taken his feedback private. image
  • Smells suspiciously like a hi-jacked selling account.imageimageimageimageimageimage

Huge number of multi-repeat buyers and only the seven negs came from only two buyers, so they too had repeat transactions.

    File report today Steve.

    Can't stress that enough.

Sorry too, cuz that really sucks.

I think a public flogging is in order.
