Qutestion about 1952 Bowmans

Is it common for the cardboard to have a yellow stock and not the pure white in the lower numbers? I have the opportunity to buy a PSA 7 Robin Roberts below SMR...but the color is throwing me off. It is constant throughout the entire card...not a stain of any kind.

Any help would be appreciated.

The answer is yes and no

in fact the lower numbers do have 2 different stocks BUT one is not yellow.

If memory serves me right one is a grayish stock and the other more white.

Are you talking about the borders on the front? If so, yes ... but it is more of an off-white - not yellow.
