Anybody else watching ESPN's "History in the Making" nightly segment?

They are comparing the '05 USC team to the best teams of the past 50 years. So far they have "defeated" the '91 Washington Huskies and the '02 Ohio State Buckeyes in the panels (Fowler, Herbstreit, May) opinion. I caught it last night (6:30pm central) for the first time. Pretty interesting but kind of anti-climatic since it's a foregone conclusion they are going to pick USC as the best team ever.

    Herbstreit hates Nebraska, so the 71 or 95 Huskers are toast.

    Of course they're toast, USC is the superior team.

    Just watched the lastest segment tonight.

    95 Huskers vs. 05 USC

    95 Huskers were picked by a previous ESPN fan poll and by Jeff Sagarin as the best team of all time.

    Surprisingly, Mark May picked Nebraska!! Not surprisingly, Kirk "Husker Hater" Herbstreit picked USC.

    There is also a fan poll on espn.com. Vote early and often!!

    A local sports radio show (Big Sports 590) had an interview with Tommy Frazier after Herbstriet's bash that Tommy Frazier and the Huskers could only do one thing and would get beat by the 05 USC team and Tommy said something like, "What does he know?" "He was a mediocre quarter back at a mediocre school and is now a mediocre analyst." They might have a link to the interview on their website, but it was funny! image
