SSP (KIND OF) Coins from Gough Island and Tristan da Cunha

Just got a couple of new issues in from places you don't normally see on coinage. These ARE legal tender coins, albeit NCLTs. Not really pushing them, but thought some of you might like to see them. image

  • Tristan da Cunha is a group of 4 islands (including Gough Island), located in the South (not Pacific) Atlantic. Notorious as the most isolated inhabited lands in the world, they are officially a dependancy of St. Helena (as is Ascension Island). Total population of the islands is 274.

My only defence is to claim it was almost midnight, and I was tired! But yes, you are very right, it should read S. Atlantic.

Tristan da Cunha I'd heard of, but that's the first I'd heard of Gough Island. Interesting.

I too like the battleship design.
