Wow check out 873954981 over 4K. Seems like a lot of money. I had a chance to buy a 5 for 600 2 years ago, wish I had bought that one. Do have a bare hand 6 that I got for 750. I cannot believe this is going for over 4k. I hate to think the worst with the bidding but seems like a lot of dough

Holy s#)^! That seems insane. It does look pretty strong for the grade, but that seems to be about three times a reasonable PSA 5 price for the card.

That's why I said holy jenkies. I have seen this card go for about 1.5 k to a best of around 2.5 k. I guess two or more people really like it. There is not a 5 or better in completed auctions. Real happy I passed on one probably not as nice however.

Is the entire mid grade T market going to shift up, or is this a one time event?

I would say most commons in PSA five go for around 100 plus. Most of the stars in that grade go for above SMR. If you have a 6 or 7 and god forbid an 8 who knows what it will go for. I am still very surprised what this auction is getting.

Geez! That almost makes me want to crack out my SGC 60. to submit to PSA.

I do know that the Young portait is tougher then the Matty, Johnson, or Cobb red portait.
