Funny story "card find" in my real estate venturez!

I am always looking for old cards in most of these dilapidated 100 year old homes here in Boston. My girlfriend knows my passions, and we were looking at a house today when she started frantically calling my name from the basement. "Ted, Ted I found some baseball cards" I started runnig and alomst feel down the stairs when I saw about 4 retail boxes filled with cards. From across the basement I could see what she had found! A couple 1990 score boxes and an 88 donruss box all opened and just had cards stcked up inside. I kinda frowned when I saw the cards and she was still sooo excited. "EHHHHH nothing but crap...". Anyways I am always keeping my eye out!!

  • keep looking, i did a foreclosure on long island and found hundreds of 57's and 58's and some 54 bowmans, 55 and 56 topps, plus hummels, postcards of mid 50's dodgers, lionel trains ,100's of comic books and even some jewelery. the collectibles were worth more than the profit on the house. this was as good if not better than finding the mantle rookie card in the attic or the 67 big block corvette in the old barn. unbelievable. matrix

Are you sure on these? There are no Canadian Half-Pennies (some local ones though, including an 1856 Nova Scotia), and Indian Head pennies were first minted in 1859. Sorry, coin-guy in me got out again image .
