Buffalo Nickel Error Hoard?????

As I was searching some rolls I found a 2005 D Buffalo nickel with a strike error
on the "U" in the word UNUM. (2 pics - bison unum - bison error)

Also, in the "P" Mint Buffalo nickels it seems like there's a hoard of errors.

1. 9 error(?) coins of the Buffalo's belly found in ONE roll
( see bison belly pics)

2. Die Crack along Jefferson's chin on 2 coins and
2 of them with a crack in the letter "D" in GOD
(jefferson chin pics}

3. Not sure but looks like a DDO
((jefferson_dubl_overse pic)) LOL

  • All pictured are very, very minor errors, common in the mass produced Bison Nickels. Seems like they are more common from Philly than Denver.

    You can buy packages of Bison 'errors' on Ebay for around $1-$2/coin limiting your potential loss to $0.95-$1.95 per coin.

    All very minor and very common stuff. If you look that closely at any recent coin issue you'll find the same type of stuff. BTW, your "DDO" picture shows a completely normal coin, not a DDO.
