1922 Chauffeur badge + Chinese cash coin

Haven't been finding a lot lately but I made a bargain with Phut (I'd keep
diggin' out here on the West coast during the Winter months while he waits for
the ground to thaw out on East coast!) So, here are a couple recent finds:
Unlike others who dig these up by the hand full (like Demodigger) this is my first
Chauffeur badge. Didn't realize these were such collectors items until I did a quick
search on the net today. Here's an interesting site with several different types
of Chauffeur badges (some pretty "pricey" too): http://www.exocoin.com/
And, here's an interesting History lesson on Chauffeur badges.
Also found a Chinese cash coin so I knew this spot would be a good area to
focus on. (cash coins usually only come out of the good, old spots out here)

And what was the date on that Denver-mint Merc? 1916?

Thanks Demodigger... I started cracking up when it came out of the ground
and was thinking it looked familiar. Probably a few more out there since there
were "tens of thousands" made some years... but that's actually a lot more rare
than most coins!
Thanks LM, the cash coins come in all different sizes so it depends but I'd say
the highest signal would be just below zinc and the rest fall into the lower-to-mid
pull-tab range. (The chauffeur badge was right between zinc and copper memorial)
As for the dime... is that 1916-d a good one?
keep on my desk to throw on the scanner to help show the size of different finds)

how this hobby can become a history lesson about something I never would have
given a second thought until I make the find.

It's been 18 days since I've had my machine out. You could post a rusty and bent cut nail and i'd be happy.
Cool finds
I actually do have a good collection of rusty square nails in the garage...
they do look cool in the group shots with other the old finds.
I personally like finding numbered items such as your badge - they feel more unique than coins, and given time/interest it may be possible to track their history in detail... maybe chauffeur badge #66921 was held by someone who started out as a bus driver to become a major celebrity/executive/other later in life..?
