That seated dime auction on ebay last night...

Did anyone else bid on the large group (197 pieces) of raw Seated Liberty dimes that was auctioned individually on ebay last evening (link to completed auction below)? There were a lot of better grade and better date coins in it, but 99% of the coins were cleaned, some harshly. I placed over 120 snipes on it, for a total of $11,000 in bids, and to make a long story short, I won only three coins, which totaled about $150! I don't know whether I got my butt kicked by knowledgeable variety collectors, or if I just got run out of there by hoards of Bidiots who didn't notice the cleaning... or a bit of both. Either way, the three cleaned pieces I won weren't worth the 4-5 hours I spent looking through the auction lots and placing snipes. Did anyone else win any of the lots?

Perhaps... but I know the look of an original Seated coin, and there were only a small handful of dimes in that collection that were not dipped at some point. That is the primary reason why my bids were too weak to win many of the coins- I bid on them as cleaned pieces.
P.S., no offense to bunker or the other people who won the coins. They were great coins, but many if not most were without their original "skin".

I'm sorry if you didn't think my crack about "Bidiots" was funny, but I assure you that I am just as serious as you are about collecting.
