While you may think this may be too good to be true, even HRH made a nice comment about it. But I did put it out there for all to comment on and I welcome your.
Shylock....I have a Proof 1887 that looks similar to your 1907.....................the Obverse is pink and the reverse is half silver and half pink.......looks like your reverse is all silver
This was in an NGC PR66RB, but now reside in a PCGS PR65RB holder.................(it's a 66 by the way)
<< <i>Lee G - Your 1882 Indian cent has been ammoniated.Another word is burnt.I don't care if its in a holder or not.I would return it to PCGS under their guarantee >>
Stewart your opinion is well respected by me. Can you expand on this for me. First time I've heard the term.

Well, given the comment was from the owner of the finest set of Lincolns, it carries some weight.
The other tipoff is that ALL the coins for sale by Numiscent have that same "pumpkin orange" hue. MS Lincolns tend to vary in color -- even red ones. If the 1911 bags, hopefully you will be able to return the 1909 and cut your losses. If you gripe enough (like the board member with the 4 bodybags did) you might get a refund for the 1911 as well.

I think he means the coin was artificially toned with or otherwise exposed to ammonia, and/or heat. I am surprised that splotchy toning like that made it into a PCGS holder. You may want to look into the guarantee on that one . . . . . .
