Two Hall of Fame coaches going at it. I had my doubts about both of them continuing to win in "today's" NFL but they have proven their doubters wrong. Now I wish they'd both retire!

If anyone looks at that SI list, it's a very good list, but hard to believe they left off the Eagles - Cowboys.
• I've been lookin forward to this all week! It should be close......both QBs are my fantasy guys....hope for high scores!
• I just hate the fact that all most all their games come down to the last 2:00 min. of the game. This figures to be the same type barn burner.

Good, more room for the bucs to make it into the playoffs!

But both the skins and boys are better teams than the giants (but they didn't get the luxury of an extra home game).

• Parcells will never win a championship in Dallas. Here is why.

Bill in the offseason is involved in a car accident in the Dallas area. Rumor has it that Michael Irvin is the driver of the other vehicle, but that is another story. Parcells has a near death experience. He dreams that he has died and gone to heaven. He reaches the pearly gates, where he meets St. Peter and must answer a few questions before entering.

St. Peter: Tell me Bill what was your deal with the Cowboys? Did I miss some side bet you made with Beelzebub?

Parcells: Huh?

St. Peter: You know, the Incubus. Let's face it, only a moron would grow up in Jersey, root for NY teams all his life, achieve his dream of coaching the Giants, then come out of retirement to coach the Dallas frigging Cowboys. Hell even I find that offensive and I'm the most impartial forgiving being I ever created.

Parcells: Well the money was good and I saw an opportunity....

St. Peter: Opportunity!?!?! It's Jerry Jones and the Cowboys man. He is the Anti Christ, and by the way he wears fishnets and a garter belt to bed. I made sure of that. Do you think Jimmy Swaggart was the only self righteous stand in the corner jerkin' the chicken hypocrite in the world? What in my name were you thinking? If I let you win a Super Bowl with the Cowboys do you know how many pissed off New Yorkers would show up here? Sure I can work miracles but even I need off every seventh day.

Parcells: Sorry, guess I got caught up in the moment. Is there anything that I can do to make it right?

St. Peter: Well I have a contingency plan.

Whispers in the ear of Parcells.

Parcells: Nooooo!!!! Have you been talking to Ditka!?!?

The next day - Parcells is on the phone.

Parcells: Hello, Mr. Benson? I have decided to accept your offer to coach the Saints.

Don't worry, the giants will still get their asses handed to them.

It must be nice to have 9 home games when every other team gets just 8...but I guess NY bias has NOTHING to do with it, right?

I think it actually had something to do with the hurricane. The Saints had no place to play while the NFL figured out what to do.

At that point, the Saints were 25-17 in away games under Haslett, even though technically the game in NY was home for them.

Come on...the headquarters for the NFL are in NEW YORK...you're going to say they couldn't find a closer place for that 'home' game for the saints besides New York?

Come on! The saints could have played in KC, could have played 100 other places other than in NY's home stadium!

Listen, the Giants getting that home game was a big break. The unfortunate circumstance of Hurricane Katrina left the NFL with only days to make that decision. To say that NEW YORK as a city had anything to do with that decision is naive at best.

• Do you really think that one extra home game was that important! I don't, if the Boys take care of business then that is not a problem. The Gaints still won 9 other games. The way the saints are playing I dont think it really matters were they played. If the Giants win the division by one game then yea it was a big deal but if they win it by more than one thet that is just on the other teams in the division.

Hail to the Meadowlands!

Seriously. I have been to New Orleans since the hurricane and in fact will be there again this week. My business is disaster response and recovery; emergency management. There is no way that a football game was going to be played in the first 2-3 weeks after the hurricane hit the NOLA Metro area, and that includes Baton Rouge (LSU).

There were 400,00 people displaced from their homes and many were in Baton Rouge. Most have been shifted to other areas of the country. Yeah, as we open our gifts next week there are still 400,000 people from New Orleans who are still not able to go home. If you believe that TV shows a marked recovery then guess again. They have not even made 10% progress as of this date.

I think you are the idiot and bone head...GIANTS stadium is the HOME of the NY GIANTS.

NFL wanted to put another a game into their backyard and GIVE the Giants another home game...too bad you are too f*****g stupid to realize it, or to f******g dense to see it any other way, but it's the truth.

The NFL sold out the saints to put on a huge showcase about how much they care in NY's backyard, and give the 'home' team an extra home game to boot.

The Saints got left out in the cold all year, and the Giants were the recipients of an additional home game. If I were the Giants or Skins, I'd be livid.

A sure sign of depressant use...the lack of energy and desire to sleep.

Thanks for affirming our suspicions.

As you know, Kuhlmann is a straight shooter on this forum. Unfortunately, I get a bad feeling that he did bet that dime. Kuhlmann's a good guy and I hate to see him lose like that.

If Kuhlmann sees this - DON'T chase the loss on Monday Night Football...the loss is spilled milk...just let it go.

nothing worse then waking up with a bad hangover and 1k lighter in the pocket!

I COULD OF BOUGHT A 1952 TOPPS PSA 1 MANTLE WITH THAT MONEY! GOD I AM SO PISSED ^#@^#@^#@^@^%&@#&#&%#%&$#&%#%$#$#&$#&$#&%$#&%$#&%#$&%$#&%$#&%$#&%$#&$#&#&%$#&%$#&#$

Sorry had to vent that out!

also would like to add that the cowboys, NEED TO GET A QB THIS YEAR IN THE DRAFT. I have had it with this former pats jets players for parcells.

vinny and bledsoe both svck. bledsoe can not beat the blitz, you think he would but he cant. or our OLINE is just plain sh$t!

well im out here's to hoping we win our next 2 games. or who cares maybe just lose and have another good draft!
