I've noticed while going threw the Clemens Basic set, that they have a card that doesn't even exist in there make- up of the set. ( 1989 Leaf). Do any of you other Player Set collecters have this problem. Will PSA get rid of it if I email them.

I'm not crazy right, there is no 1989 Leaf?

    My guess is that a Clemens card was mislabeled as 1989 Leaf. I found the same issue in the Marino master set - so I e-mailed Customer Service and they removed the card after researching that the card didn't exist.

    It would be but there was no 89 Leaf set.

    There were two cards like that on the Puckett Master set.

    1985 Topps/OPC sticker (it is either topps or OPC, not both)

    1987 Donruss Diamond King Super (it is a 5 x 7 card, psa does not grade these)

    I emailed them and explained this to them are they were removed within two days.

    Actually, I believe that this card does exist. It was a promo card sent to dealers in 1989 along with a few other players. I do not remember the other players but the card has a marking on the back "Promo" (or something of that nature). I think this may be the card that you are referencing. In all other aspects, picture, etc., it is the same card as the 1990 Leaf. I hope this helps as I am only basing it on memory. I worked in a shop back then and saw lots of those promo cards.

    I believe that the previous psoter was correct. There were about 7 cards made up in 1989 for the promo of the '90 Leaf set. The only other player I recall was Dante Bichette. Cannot recall specifically that CLemens was 1 of the cards, but he could have been.

    PSA lists the 12 card Leaf promo set at 1990. And Clemens was not one of the promos. The SCD catalog only lists the 1989 Leaf Blue Chip cards as the only Leaf cards produced in 1989. They are a Leaf version of the 1989 Donruss Grand Slammers set. No Clemens here either, as they were all hitters.

    Someone just made an error when creating the registry list.
