1985-1987 Donruss question

Are factory set cards of these years all slightly smaller in size than their wax and rack pack counterparts? This is certainly true for 1984 donruss, but what about 85,86,87?

Definately true for '85, and I think it's true for all of them. I read somewhere that donruss' factory set cards were all double cut.
  • I know that 87 are the same size. However, the backs are flipped 180 degrees from what you get in wax.

The factory set cards are short both t/b and l/r. I just checked my 1987s too, and the factory cards are a bit shorter than the wax pack cards, so it seems to be consistant.

I sent the Puckett from my 1985 factory set in. It was a little short both ways, but they still graded it, so I'm sure they're aware of the size differences. I got a 9 on the Puckett, darn corners.
