I would much rather have a better looking card/collection, irregardless of the grade, than a higher set ranking if it was based on examples such as those.
Whose to say that it isn't a PSA 9 trapped in a PSA 8 slab?
Yea...I've seen things like this before many hundreds of times. To me picture focus, print quality and centering is of the utmost importance. I'd even take that 8 if it had a little more corner wear and got knocked down to a 7, over that particular 9.
Buy the card or the label....Ive asked myself that many times. I actually have in my collection psa 5's that to me are more attractive than some 6-7 graded identical cards. At the PSA 8-9 level if your fighting for top dog on the registry I guess you need the 9, at my level I would prefer a well centered 5 than a NQ 7 that is not centered well.

I like the 8 better too. You could always go with my 9 that is on eBay right now.
