Just won one of my dream cards on eBay, but........

I guess I was caught up in the beautiful autograph that I did not see that the seller did not accept PayPal. Darn , darn, darn!!

Apparently, this Mickey Mantle I purchased is one of the cheapest items as the seller has a very nice collection of 2001 Bowman Chrome Pujols that he sold.

    Why does not having Paypal concern you? If the guy is going to scam you circumventing PayPal's "Buyer Protection" wouldn't stop him

    As it is, mailing a USPS Money Order seems like a relatively small hassle for a card as nice as that one. If he is a scammer knowing his address and having the USPS behind you seems like as good as any protection PayPal would provide.

    No, let me clarify. PayPal was an issue for me primarily in regards to convenience. It is much easier and cheaper for me (as a buyer) to type in some info, hit the send button and expedite the process. However, as a seller, I'm sure he is wary of the fees, especially consider the nice $$$ he will get for the Pujols.
