world gold experts...opinions on

I would appreciate your observations. Not sure of the going value for these currently..
Also, which grading service does the best with world gold ?

I know there are some question about authenticity with these coins. (I get that from some web sites Ive gone through).
This sizes and weighs correctly, I assume slabbing it will be the best way to keep it protected/marketable.

Thanks !

I agree you should slab it for authenticity's sake. It's a nice piece! Good luck with that one.

  • I guess it would grade out VF30- XF45. I would keep it raw and just enjoy it's history and art. image You gotta "love gold coins!!" image

If you want it slabbed I would go with NGC. You could spend more with PCGS but you would have to wait 3+ months to get the coin back.

I would call that coin EF40.

thanks very much for your opinions ! I had a long discussion with a local dealer about PCGS vs. NGC,
people tend to have strong opinions when it comes to the grading service...

mostly slabbing for authenticity.. i understand it's a fairly rare date for this type of coin.
    anyway, thanks image
  • Krause has it at $135 in VF and $275 in XF.
