Need input for registry page design

Hello, I just re-did my 20th Century gold registry page. I am looking for input on if the images are too much and if anyone has other ideas to snaz it up a little.

Love the images but kill the penguins.

I think it looks fantastic as is.

Edited to add that I agree about the penguins - they are big and distracting.

Is there any counter style that someone might recomend?

I changed the counter to something a little less distracting with a flare.
