1975 wonder bread football set question???

Hi-
I know!! This is such a small and insignificant set in the world of cards but.... I'm wondering if this set could be bought as an entire set back in '75 or did it have to be assembled one card at a time?? I know the '76 set could be bought as a set as I see many on ebay for sale and the '74 set was not available to buy in complete set form.. If you know the answer to this question.. You know your football sets!

I am working on both the 74 & 75 wonder bread sets. The cards are excruciatingly difficult to find. Especially the 75 set. To my knowledge neither set was available for purchase in it's completed form. I remember collecting both sets as a kid and in most cases the cards always show some signs of being packaged with the bread. There is usually toning and a slippery or slimy feel to the cards. That being said, I have stumbled into a few cards that show abolutely no signs of bread contamination. This leads me to two conclusions: 1.) They might have been put in some other Wonder (i.e. hot dog rolls or english muffins) products that may not have been as damaging as the bread. 2.) There were probably some sets/cards that were created (i.e. proofs, promos, employee giveaways ...) that have made it into circulation. I have never found any evidence that the public could purchase a set of either 74 or 75.

I just got a 1975 set graded and lead the 1974 set. While I have bought them as sets, they were only available as singles to the best of my knowledge. Will check my Big beckett book to verify. There are 3 1975 sets on ebay currently. The 1974 is harder to come by and rarely sold as a set. I'll bet some of the nice stuff i see from time to time went home with employees and was never in teh bread package. also working on the Town Talk version, really rare and PSA has graded them as wonderbread every time inspite of writing it specifically on the form and sending on seperate forms. Just had to PSA 9 1974 wonderbread and 4 1974 PSA 7 town talk (including warfield and csonka) graded.

FYI The big Beckett doesn't say whether they were only available in bread or not.

Submitted the 1975 wonder bread set for the registry last week.
