a nice vf coin and what makes this coin really special is that usually fugios are weakly struck in the middle of the obverse to 6 pm towards the rims and this coin is strongly struck!!~!!! unusual !!!!!!!
so this is a really nice vf above average struck example and also most importantly in early copper it is a nicely balanced coin with average++ plus surfaces!!!!!!!!!!!! the best of both worlds
also you do not usually see a nice circ fugio like this too often as most all you see now on themarket are weakly struck obverse coins again in the center of the coin and down to 6 pm on the obverse
I really like the look of it! I don't know the grade though.

I'd say VF30. The key is it has original tan surfaces with a dismissably low level of corrosion and sundial numerals that are readable even on the right side.
The variety appears to be a KN-9P. That is among those in the Bank of New York hoard, which are available in quantity and in mint state.
I think it's overgraded. But what do I know, being merely a peon.
I wish they'd been so lenient with my 1860-O dime with super thick skin, nice subtle toning, perfect surfaces, and a fully visible LIBERTY which only garnered a VG10 with the experts at PCGS.

I'll guess PCGS would consider that a VF35.

D'Oh! It was right there in the thread title. Well I was close with my VF30. Uncommonly nice, but relatively common, Fugio.
