Mis-grade

I recently purchased a 1985 Donruss Joe Morgan, psa 10, and recieved it yesterday. However, at the top left are two surface creases (on a supposedly perfect card).

Anyways, I called PSA now and was told to send it in for a regrade (I'm not currently a member, so I was told to do a $15+ level). If they did mess up, it would apparantly be bought back.

Is it worth it? I bought it at 12.50 (Creases not visable in pic), so it would presumably be cheaper to just get another, as opposed to the $15 fee. Also, I can't imagine the buyback would be much at all for this card.

Any thoughts appreciated

Luc

Looking for Jonny Gomes cards, especially Triple Threads and printing plates. Will consider all cards, though. Got something? Contact me at c_u_l_1@yahoo.com

I personally don't think it's worth the shipping and insurance (or trouble).
  • Not worth the bother to send to PSA for such a cheap card. Have you approached the seller about it? If he's a good eBay'er he should give you a refund on an obviously flawed card.

The ebayer you bought it from should take it back.

not worth the trouble in this case IMO to send it back to PSA
