Timecapsule find 1957 Topps

Hi all ,This is my first post and I have a story to share and some questions. When I was 9 or 10 my school was undergoing some remodeling and a time capsule was found. I thought what a great idea ....So I made my own time capsule and filled it with "treasures",I thought that the year 2000 would be a fine time to open it.Well I completely forgot about it until my dad found it in his attic....Well you guessed it......inside was my stack of baseball cards 1957 Topps . I took them to my local card store and the guy almost flipped, he said in good conscience that he could not let me leave the store without protecting them with hard screw on cases. I showed them to a friend who collects graded hockey cards and he said I have a great find and suggested PSA grading....so here I am a new Gold member...now...what cards should I send in I have many HOF ,do you suggest I send fed ex...Insured if so how much?? How do I determine value for the PSA form...these are just some questions that come to mind...If you have any advice please reply Thanks for all your help Toby

    Welcome!!!

1st you should buy a nice scanner, and let us have a look at your cards!
Also, If you make a list for us we could help you determine PSA value since you need a copy of the "most recent" SMR
You shoul dsend your package to PSA by regular mail with insurance and delivery confirmation

Awesome story! Good luck with the submission!

Buy some Card Saver's and make sure you send them in that. Whenever I insure, I always look at the back for the rates. There is not a major difference in my book in regards to the rates.

Ripublican is correct - if you have a scanner, post the cards here. There are a lot of helpful collectors on these boards.
