What's up with 1872-CC dollars?

I almost never see 1872-CC dollars, and all of a sudden I see 3 certified examples on Ebay.
A PCGS Good-4 and XF40, and a NGC XF45.

Did some hoard just come out, or is it just a strange coincidence?

We just sold a nice EF 72-CC. For such a low mintage, I wonder if we don't have some "manufactured" 72-CC dollars floating about.

With Edwards and Goldberg releasing hoards of 1894, 1893S, 1889CC Morgans, I wouldn't be surprised if there was small hoard out there being slowly sold off now that prices are up--
