Nice coin! I don't collect varieties, so not sure.
Mr. Fun & TainoHenka, any premiums on these rotated dies?
Rotated die coins with 15degrees rotation or less, are usually not interested by most collectors.
Yours looks like more than 15 degree.
I am not sure how common it is for that date.
Hello Mailliwainareb:
I see you're brand new. Welcome aboard. Filam and I are two certified coinaholics for the US Philippine series, who like to post here. I'm sure I speak for him when I invite you to join us.
I wish I had better news for you about the coin in question, but it's inexpensive in that condition; probably no more than $20 or $25. With the rotation, maybe add on $5.
A more dramatic rotation would be worth a bit more, but these errors are rarely worth the same type of dollars that say a 15% off center would bring.
Again, welcome and ...
Best wishes,
Just Having Fun
I was just thinking that maybe they noticed the slight rotation - but it should have been noted on the label if that was the case.
Thanks for the acceptance and your advise is greatly appreciated.
