Would love to examine the edges in person/under loupe.
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
actually the seller ignored the board rules and posted it in a way to look like it wasn't to be sold, even though the intention was to hype the sale.. When he got called out for it he attacked, and continues to do so.

I saw that card, and it is a great card; beautiful design, colorful graphics, great shot of a young Tyrus, but I also think it's overgraded. 5 would be a generous grade, given the corners. If thats dirt wear on the front, the grade should be lower - JMHO.

As far as overall appearance the nicest Cobb cards are his 1914-15 Cracker Jack and 1912 T202 Hassan Triple Folder(STUNNING). I think this card lacks that stunning eye appeal. Just an opinion.
I like the image on this card ,but even if the card were not trimmed, I think that is a very ugly 6. PSA 6 should not be that off-centered and have so many stains on the back.
I still feel his T206 Red portrait is his best looking cards followed by the green portait. I also like his 1907 Detroit Tigers Team postcard. Why you ask? Because I own a Red portrait and the postcard. lol... Owners pride I guess. Joe
I'm very distrustful of 0700XXXX cards based on the whopping two in my collection, but I don't think this 6 seems all that unreasonable - assuming it's not trimmed, of course. Heck, if I were a money-is-little-or-no-object collector, I'm pretty sure I would've been bidding on it the other night.
Hard to argue with those three choices. But I do kinda like the look of the E92. Strangely appealing to me in its cartoonishness - if that makes any sense. Plus the color and registration on this one look great.

The botton edge does look questionable.

look who won...
i agree with 2dueces...red portrait is cobb's best card. I would then likely put the e95 next..and then the e93.
10 years from now $15k may seem like chump change.
